Get to Know Us!
Patricia Fackler, D.C.
I have been interested in effective healthcare as long as I can remember. At home as a child, my parents tried to implement health related practices at a young age. As a teen, taking care of injured or sick livestock was my job. In college, taking care of human patients started to become my passion. I volunteered many hours in physical therapy settings and being a student athletic trainer at Bowling Green State University further grew this passion.
I married David Fackler in 1992 and moved to St. Louis, Missouri to attend Logan College of Chiropractic. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Anatomy and Physiology (February, 1994) and a Doctor of Chiropractic (December, 1995). While in chiropractic school, I developed my low force techniques and began her serious interest in the benefits of good clinical nutrition.
After graduating, I returned closer to home. I began practice at Lydy Chiropractic, Inc. in Crestline, Ohio. In June 2004, I opened Fackler Family Chiropractic, LLC in Shelby, Ohio with a vision of helping patients with chiropractic adjustments, nutritional support and adjunct therapies that would promote health at all levels. I continue to pursue education in nutritional supplementation, more specialized nutrition testing techniques, and attend continuing education often.
Dave and I have three children: Walker, Morgan, and Riley. Besides our biological children we have a God-given passion for helping hurting kids. So, there are more kids that have adopted us as their family. Besides my practice, I’m very busy being Mom, a spoiling Grandma, a farm wife, and with my church (LifePoint in Plymouth, Ohio).
I give all glory to God for any successes I may have, and I’m very thankful He has blessed me in so many ways. I count it one of the biggest blessings to be able to help each and every one of you every day, and I hope to continue to do so for a long time to come.
Training
Dr. Fackler has attended many hours of continuing education in the field of nutrition. While gaining much knowledge in this field, this is an ever changing field of expertise that is dependent on the indidvidual’s own health status and biochemistry. The field is vast and complicated. Learning nutrition, as in learning in general, is continuous for a lifetime as science is ever changing and ever growing.
